Jarlsberg has a mild, nutty flavor made from pasteurized, part-skim cow’s milk. Jarlsberg’s 18 lb. wheels are packed individually and encased within a hard protective wax, creating a firm interior that is ripened and ready to eat. Jarlsberg is aged for 5 to 6 months before distributed to Pennsylvania Macaroni Co. This wonderful Norwegian cheese can be used as a table cheese, dessert cheese or sliced on sandwiches. Serve Jarlsberg with wine or beer.
