Whether you are looking for extremely spicy, sweet, roasted, dried or fried, Penn Mac has the right kind of pepper for your cooking style. We have roasted red and yellow peppers, which work well in salads and on sandwiches and paninis. Mancini’s roasted red jalapeños are perfect to use in dips and sauces for an added punch. Dried chiles last for a long time and we have many varieties including guajillo, habanero, and pasilla chiles, all from the Earthy Delights brand. Keep your dried chiles in a cool, dry place to extend the shelf life.
For a different take on peppers, try Oliverio’s Hot Cauliflower, it provides a great crunchy texture! Another spicy option aside from peppers is hot giardiniera, an Italian pickled vegetable relish served in vinegar or oil. In Chicago, giardiniera is commonly used on Italian beef sandwiches.
