Sugo di Pomodoro: Try our simple tomato sauce
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 large clove garlic (peeled and diced)
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
Place oil & garlic in a medium saute pan under medium heat. Cook until garlic becomes gold in color add 1 can San Marzano crushed tomatoes and reduce heat to low. Stir once and cook uncovered for 20 minutes. After add salt and pepper, cook for 3 more minutes and serve over favorite pasta. Serves 2-3
