Ingredients: Tomatoes, tomato juice, salt, calcium chloride and citric acid.

1 28 oz. can of San Marzano tomatoes
3 tablespoons of butter
1 fresh chopped onion (small)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano
Put butter and onion in a 10 inch saute pan under medium-high heat. Stir for 1 minute, cover the pan and reduce heat to low. Do not allow onion to turn brown, cook until it is pale yellow. Drain the tomatoes of their excess juice. Crush tomatoes in pan and increase the heat to medium. Add salt and pepper. Cook for 6 minutes. Serves 3-4 over your favorite variety of pasta.
