Soy Vay Wasabi Teriyaki
Soy Vay is the creation of a Chinese girl and a Jewish boy (can you tell by the name?). In 1982 they started out with just a simple food booth and a basic Chinese marinade but have now grown into a very popular Asian sauce manufacturer. From this unique company we get wasabi teriyaki, a sauce unlike any you have ever tasted. It’s a teriyaki sauce but with the zesty kick of real wasabi, an incredible combination!
This wasabi sauce is made using all natural wasabi with soy sauce, sesame and soy oil and other great ingredients like fresh ginger and garlic. The ingredients alone have been leaving our mouths watering. Some users of this sauce even call it “addicting” (you’ve been warned).
Use this sauce as a marinade or a glaze for meats and seafood (halibut filets!) prior to cooking. If used before cooking, the sauce will have a milder wasabi taste. But if you are looking for more of a kick, throw it on your sauce right before you serve it. For that added kick, you can also use it as a dipping sauce for many items like raw vegetables. If you are tired of using boring soy sauce to compliment your sushi, try using this wasabi sauce instead. Sushi is our favorite thing to dip in this sauce!
