The Amish know their cheese-making, and perhaps none as much as the Amish of Northeast Ohio. This sharp cheddar was made by an organic cooperative operation with a long tradition of making quality, natural cheeses. Hormone-therapy free cows on and a natural diet of pesticide free grass pasture produces great milk; the Amish turn it into a wonderful artificial-preservative-free cheese. This is a robust and rich cheddar with a truly wholesome touch.
