The name doesn’t lie. The milk used in this cheese comes from a real farm, not some factory. This cheese is produced by an organic cooperative operation centered around the legendary dairy village of Middlefield in Northeast Ohio. No BST or RTHS is used on these cows, and a natural diet of pesticide-free grass on the pasture helps the cows produces great tasting milk. The Amish then turn it into a wonderfully artificial-preservative-free cheese.
This semi-soft Farmer’s Cheese is simplistic with a fresh, mildly tangy taste with a moist but sliceable consistency.
