$7.99 Daniele Artificial Casing Sweet Sopressata Daniele Artifical Casing Sweet Sopressata is made in the U.S. and sold by the piece, weighing about 3/4 lb. Sopressata is the most well known of the Italian salamis and the most likely to be recognized. Unlike traditional salami, sopressata is a much coarser grind, often mixed with red pepper flakes. Sopressata are perfect for an anti-pasto board, sliced thin with good bread, mustard or a mostarda. Note: It does not need ice for preservation purposes.
