Halloumi is a traditional cheese from Cyprus. Halloumi has a higher melting point than other cheeses. This makes it ideal for both frying and grilling. Since it has a higher melting point, BBQ's all over Cyrus use Halloumi for all their cheese needs. It can be used as a snack, cooked in dishes, sliced on sandwiches or even diced in a salad.
