These dried mushrooms are often found on trees (dead or alive) jutting out like balconies from the bark. Typically featuring a pale white (sometimes tan) cap, they can grow up to 1 ˝ feet in diameter. It is said that, when growing naturally, the cap has a unique smell – an aroma not present when grown artificially.
Our Earthly Delights brand oyster mushrooms are one of a kind. With delicate caps that can be easily torn into smaller pieces, they are known to cook quickly. For this reason, it is recommended that you add these dried mushrooms to your frying pan in the final segment of cooking, rather than at the beginning. Doing this will help to ensure that the ingredients aren’t overcooked and taste fresh whenever served with the meal.
