Chanterelles Dried Mushrooms

Chanterelle mushrooms, otherwise known as golden chanterelles or girolles, are dried mushrooms of the Cantharellus genus. They are most commonly yellowish-orange and funnel-shaped, with a smell indicative of dried apricots and a peppery yet fruity taste. Predominant in North America and various parts of northern Europe, the Chanterelle is commonly found growing in mossy, herby patches of the forest.
