Antipasti means “before the meal” and any true Italian dinner features antipasto, a custom that began in Rome and goes back to Renaissance times.
This particular antipasto features a selection of young Italian mushrooms flavored with Mediterranean herbs and seasoned with sunflower oil. In addition to the mushrooms and sunflower seed oil, the antipasto contains only simple ingredients some of which include onions, wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and garlic. Wild mushrooms are often used in contemporary Italian cuisine and Sacla’s mixed mushrooms give great flavor and texture to any dish you choose to add them to!
