Cremoulin has a washed rind, is very creamy and quite runny. Kind of orange on the outside surface of the cheese. It's sold in a 12 oz wheel. It's made in the autumn and winter from the milk of cows fed on cold-weather vegetation, such as hay or grain. The Cremoulin is traditionally served at Christmas time, and the size makes a simple, easy presentation for any appetizer or addition to a main course. Simply plunge into the cheese with a spoon or a knife and spread the interior on a piece of bread. Remember, the cheese does has a pungent aroma, but it tastes makes up for it in an instant.
